I haven’t been waking up to an alarm clock since Baby C was born. Unfortunately, with one thing and another, my sleep schedule has been creeping later and later. I hate when I have no morning, but I also hate being tired. And Baby C wakes up to feed anywhere between once and four times each night. Even when she doesn’t wake me up, I wake up, and often can’t fall right back to sleep. So I need kind of a lot of “sleep” to cobble together enough of it.
I set my first alarm yesterday, and my second one today. I’m tired, but I’m encouraged that I’ve still got so much of the day ahead of me. I’m hopeful that I’m tired enough to return to my normal, early-ish bedtime tonight. Maybe soon I can start waking up at a reasonable time without an alarm.
